Emily's first piece of mail came earlier this week all the way from Paris, France

a dear friend of ours who lives in Scotland special ordered this custom diorama

complete with a tiny matilda inside...to wish our little girl welcome

these charming little boxes are straight from the imagination of Pamela Loops

she has ready made designs and will also make a custom piece if you are looking for a special gift

here is one of my favorites that she has in her shop right now.

i have already placed another order and i have a feelng it won't be my last :)

...okay, i'm not gonna lie...

this kitchen reno is totally kicking my butt and we are only half way through!

you know how the order of projects is always so particular?

how everything seems to depend on something else?

well, that's what's been going on and i am hanging by a thread at this point,

but trying to stay focussed on the finished product

so today i thought i'd post some beautful and soothing designs i found on etsy.

i am really looking forward to a fresh new year and a tiny new baby in just a few months.

i realize i haven't really posted much of anything about my pregnancy

and i might just decide to share some thoughts on it very soon,

but for now i am really enjoying having it all to myself :)

it is both trippy and magical all at the same time

and i love it!

anyways, i'm gonna try to check in here more often

because i am really missing a sense of normalcy.

i am also dreaming up some new ideas to make for spring

and am looking forward to sharing some sneak peeks
