pretty little things

happy (belated) vernal equinox

i can't believe the first day of spring came and went and i didn't even check in!

i have a good excuse though, my husband was out of town all last week

and Emily's cutting 4 molars, so i haven't even had a single moment to myself.

oh and if you follow me on facebook you'll know that THIS happened.

she took her first few steps on her 11 months birthday and exactly 10 days later

she began walking from here to there and chasing poor Matilda everywhere

anyways, things have been nuts and i only have an hour or two to myself after i put Emily to sleep

which i have to cram every bit of me time into and blogging just hasn't been at the top of my list.

i am still trying to figure out how other 'work at home moms' fit in the work part

my shop is almost entirely sold out and the tiny house is seriously calling my name

the last of the dolls will be on their way to new homes this week and

i have another handful waiting to be dressed so i hope to have them listed very soon.

BTW the image up top was found in THIS (now closed) shop

it reminds me that spring is for riding bikes and cleaning house

and re-organizing things in pretty baskets

i'm going to add all of those things to myto-do  list

and stay hopeful that i can find the time to fit everything in.

11 months

my sweet curious little girl is 11 months old today

she is climbing anything and everything...all day every day

in fact, we converted our dining room into a play room to accomodate this little busy body

we broke down the table and replaced it with a small sofa which i LOVE

because this room is right off the kitchen and it gets the best light

it's a great place to hang out while coffee is brewing or dinner is on the stove

plus we NEVER ate at the dining room table anyways so we don't even miss it.

she has recently taken her first couple of steps and is beginning to understand more of what we say

she also hums little tunes as she falls asleep and loves to brush her hair.

two things that are currently making me melt :)

she is the brightest, busiest, sweetest, funniest, most delicious little thing i could ever imagine

and i am so utterly in love with every little thing about her, i could just burst!

seriously.
