catching up and falling behind

our internet has been spotty for the last few days

which is one of the reasons i've fallen behind on blog posts

i have also been catching up on bunches and bunches of holiday orders.

...

we haven't even had a chance to get a tree this year,

but if we did, i would hope it could look as fanciful

as this beauty from yvestown. it's the sweetest tree i've ever seen!

the basket, the baubles the clear lights. in LOVE!!

we always have a bit of a battle over here about clear vs color

i grew up with clear and he grew up with color.

i still prefer clear. what do you think?

anyways

i am hoping to get my internet back up

and running by the end of this week.

in the meantime i'm busy dreaming up

a new collection for the new year.

I grew up with coloured lights too, but now I'm white lights all the way. I have a lot of colour on my tree and I don't want the lights to overpower, they are their to highlight and compliment! That's my idea anyway!

i've never been able to resist color lights! i love love love clear, though. it definitely must be a childhood memory thing.
