i finally found time to write up this lovely tutorial for your favorite little piggy.
i have broken it down into small files so it will be easy to save
i hope you can follow my directions...let me know if you have any questions.
note: if your pooch wears a harness like matilda use the button hole stitch to make an opening large enough for the loops to fit through
VOILA!! now your little piggy has a new favorite coat.
happy sewing!

PS
let me know if you come across any kinks in this tutorial and PLEASE send pics when you're done!

Oh I'm so glad you posted this! I may have to wait awhile until I attempt (button holes confound me right now) but I am saving it to make a lovely little coat for our Butters soon!

Thank you so much for this! My little shih tzu loves to dress up. And a girl can always use a new jacket or two :)

I LOVE THIS...I just got a little Frenchie and this idea would be GREAT for him. I was so excited to see this post. I'm not the best with a sewing machine, but my mom is an ACE and she could help me.
You are awesome!

I absolutely love your site! I am a slooooow & perfectionistic sewer and never have any extra time with 3 merchandising jobs to do fun things like you do. But...I do have time to surround myself in your "Pretty Little Atmosphere" & admire! I am charmed! Thanks Kathleen

Love your site!! I am a beginner at sewing and just love the things you make. I need the inspiration!! I am teaching myself to machine sew...just went and bought one, one day, and decided I was going to learn...that's funny, considering sewing machines were completely foreign to me, and I mean FOREIGN!! I am loving it though and in big part to you and others who share their crafts!! Thanks a million :@)
