matilda and i are hangin around the house today and the weather is simply beautiful!
sunny and in the high sixties with butterflies and bumble bees abound.
the camelias are bloomin like crazy.
we have about 11 bushes in the front yard and they all seem to bloom at different times. well, 4 of them never bloom at all since they don't get enough light, but the ones that do certainly make up for it.
this guy is loaded...i think there's over 20 blossoms and another 20 ready to pop!
here is a shot from inside.
of course it's much prettier in person. i couldn't seem to get all the blooms in the shot, but i wanted to show you how they look through the french paned windows in the living room.
i like to cut and float them all around the house in pretty little dishes and cluster them in large glass fishbowls half filled with water.
anyways, i'm still battling a little bit of vertigo (it's making me crazy!) and finally finishing up on my whistle and wink projects....i plan to work on some new owls for the shop next.
hope everyone is having a beautiful weekend.
