home sweet home

i gave the tiny house a mini make over a few months ago

for a feature in a very beautiful magazine.

i painted all of my walls in a pale gray and sorted all of my bits and pieces.

the issue comes out any day now so i will share more photos soon.

keeping cool

spent a lot of time in the tiny house this weekend.

restocking leaves and flowers

...and trying to stay cool with record breaking temps...

since we don't have any air condotioning, it's the coolest space we have.

it's mostly shaded this time of year because of the sun pattern

and it's built partly into the hill so it's kind of like a little cooler in there.

...a nice quiet colorful cooler...

happy house

the tiny house has never been happier

....it's got a fresh coat of paint inside ....

and every square inch has been organized and re-organized. 

the garden has been brightened with a colorful batch of flowers 

and my roses (across that little wooden stairway) are starting to explode

in fact the whole hillside will soon be covered in shocking pink blooms!

i finally finished the photoshoot and am looking forward to

getting back into the swing of a normal routine next week.

especially in such a lovely space :)

BTW can you believe how much my daisy tree has grown?!

i have had to tie some of the branches together

to help close up the gaps, but she's still going strong

and provides a nice little shade underneath for the flowers

on hot summer days ... which are just around the corner.
