test shoot

i've been trying to figure out the best way to shoot my new pillows and plush.

i did a test shoot in the bedroom yesterday to try and figure out the lighting.

the sun's pathway this time of year makes it so hard to rely on natural light

i either don't have enough or i get crazy shadows and highlights

i'm gonna keep an eye on it throughout the day and see if i can make it work

 matilda and i rode down to the ranch today to meet with the photographer.

she LOVES going the ranch. she gets SO excited on the way there.

she stampers about and makes this little cooing noise.

i call it her singing voice :)

anyways, we always pass this sign on the way there

and i never have my camera out, but today i was prepared

the weather was perfect. sunny, breezy and warm.

and the hills are just beginning to turn gold.
