my sweet Matilda has adjusted so well to the baby. i am so proud of her.

here she is resting her eyes in Emily's rocker

i can't believe she's gonna be 8 this year

how time flies

belly love

the belly is most definitely getting bigger.

lately it feels like it's growing by the minute. when i wake up in the morning

it seems much larger than when i went to bed the night before.

although i suppose that's what i can expect in my third trimester.

matilda loves to snuggle up next to the baby girl. i hope they will be fast friends.

i'm trying to get as much quality time as i can with this sweet little dog

before the tiny human arrives. i know it will be a confusing adjustment

for her since she is used to having me all to herself.

...

the kitchen renovation is still in full swing and i can't wait to have my house back!!

i think we still have a few weeks to go and i hope i can keep my sanity until then.

it's getting more difficult each day, but i'm starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

...

scene of the crime

i'm in the tiny house working away and i notice it's a little too quiet

so i start wondering where matilda is...guess where i found her?

in the big house, finishing off the cornbread muffins

that were left on the coffee table from last night's dinner

she was just scarfing the last one down before getting to the crumbs

...

she waited patiently outside while i cleaned everything up 

and politely followed me back out to the tiny house

with the evidence still on her face

now she's playing kiss up while i get back to work.

...

it's only a matter of time before the tummy ache sets in

i just hope i'm not cleaning it up later off the carpet again

in a much 'less friendly' form. if you know what i mean.
