4 more sleeps until i become a wife.
still sounds crazy even though i've been with my guy for almost 10 years.
anyways, i found the perfect (sue wong) dress on saturday.
just one week before the wedding...i got super lucky!
it was the very last one and it just happened to be in my size. i discovered it on
a tiny rack at the edge of the special occasions department at bloomingdales.
all it needed was a strap adjustment and about an inch taken off the hem.
yesterday i found a great pair of shoes (that i had to have overnighted from
southern california) and a beautiful shimmering hair accessory in lieu of a veil.
everything is starting to come together. i even noticed an unintentional theme.
this morning we will go and get our wedding license and my wedding band.
this afternoon we will make a trip down to the ranch to put the final touches
on decorations. thursday is our walk through and saturday is the big day.
...as much as i am looking forward to the wedding...
i am also very much looking forward to getting my life back when it's over!
i miss waking up and stumbling out to the tiny house to make stuff all day.
it's been a challenge to balance the different areas of my life
since the wedding planning began.
just 4 more sleeps!

Eek! Congrats! Well that's the good thing about planning a quickie wedding, you get back to normal quickly too.
