i love miranda july and recently discovered that she has a blog!

according to miranda:

who have decided to be fashionably late...still primping, i suppose.

but we should see them later on this afternoon

i've been painting wedding signs all day long and it's not as easy as it looks.

i think maybe i'm too persnickety about the line quality and letter sizing.

i literally spent about 8 hours painting and have one sign to show for it.

at this point, i feel like i might just have one fabulous 'WEDDING' sign

and cut some of those beautiful initials in the first picture.

i don't have a jig saw, but i think i can cut them from foam core, yes?

then again, maybe i'll get my second wind tomorrow

and have better luck with the painting

i found a stash of sewing machine clutches in the tiny house yesterday

they make the best travel kit for your embroidery floss and sewing notions!

i just added them to the shop

i also discovered a small pile of spriglets.

..such a fun way to wear leaves and flowers in your hair...

i made these a couple months ago and then hid them from myself.

i do that all the time. it's SO annoying,

although, i have to say, it sure is nice to find a pretty little box

of long lost hair accessories
