love from charlotte

sometimes i get emails from kiddos who are interested in sewing

i got the MOST fabulous one this morning complete with diagrams

from a 10 year old in the UK named charlotte that absolutely warms my heart.

so i have to share!

i was looking on the inter net for idias of things to sew

so i wrote "things to sew" in the little writing box at the top of the page.

loooooooaaaaaaaaaads of things pot up so i clicked  on one

and it was your website. so i loked through your website and you had very

good idias. then i saw your address at the bottom so i am now writing to you.

i have drawn some pictures on the computer of my things for you to look at .

i have attached them to this email.

before, i had a shoebox and it had a pin cushin that i made myself.

(i stuffed it with tights because i didn't have any proper stuffing stuff,

and besides those tights didn't even fit me anymore)

so in my shoebox, i had a pin cushin, some cotton, some needles,

some scraps of fabric and ribbon, and a botton.

 

but now, for christmas, i had and actual sewing box

that looked like a dolles house even though it wasn't a dolles house.

my mummy and daddy also got me some stuff to go in there

including a "thing" that looks like a mini pizza cutter.

do you have one or even know what it is?

 

.......

she goes on to ask a few questions about

where i get my ideas and fabrics, and patterns.

and signs the email 'love from charlotte'

.......

    SUPER fabulous, right!?

couldn't imagine a better way to start the day.
