my mister just had a septoplasty to fix a broken nose that healed wrong
he had a double deviated septum which resulted in agonizing allergies,
difficulty breathing and snoring that practically shook the house
anyways, the recovery is pretty ugly.
poor thing can barely open his eyes.
i'll spare you the other gory details.
above is a picture of the bed i made for him on the couch.
...he has to sleep upright for the first couple weeks...
matilda and i have been taking care of him around the clock.
he needs his dressings changed almost every hour.
which means getting up in the middle of the night to check on him.
matilda won't leave his side.
they're both sleeping in the little couch nook right now
i'm gonna try to get some work done.

Sounds like you're doing a great job of looking after him. Love the line up of remote controls on the table. What more could a man need.

Oh poor thing - that cannot be any fun at all!! Good thing he is so well looked after by you and faithful Matilda! I hope he's feeling all better soon!
