making the cut

here's what my afternoon looks like

i know they make dies that cut petals, but then they just all look the same

...i prefer to do things the hard way...

which is why it takes me an afternoon or 2 or 3

to create a handful of flowers, but i think it's worth it.

Beautiful!! The thing with using the die cutter is that there isn't much room for variation, as you said, and doing something totally different! You'll only get the petals in a few set sizes and not much room to experiment. Hand cut wins in the end :)

you do such beautiful work, they *almost* look die-cut. it's so worth it to have something that's handcut down to every last detail.
