i've just been workin away on my images for the update,

i have recently started taking orders for custom dream catchers.

home ec has got to be the best class of all! right?

 

it is represented in my collection by these dainty little cupcake pin cushions

that slip it over your wrist for a portable place to stick your pins

or stock with needles and notions to use as a mending or embroidery kit.

key club

i came up with the idea to make some skeleton key pen cozies,

 

but it took some brainstorming to figure out

how to fit them into by back to school inspiration.

 

the light bulb popped on when i remembered the Key Club.

we didn't have this at my school so i had to look it up

...but i learned that...

" (Key Club) is the oldest and largest service program 

for high school students. It is a student-led organization 

whose goal is to teach leadership through serving others. "

...pretty cool!...

so there you have it my Key Club inspired cozies:)

feeling super inspired by all the webs popping up around here!!

 

they are everywhere and i am amazed at how quickly they spin em. 

i swear, i have busted through them on the way up to get the mail and they have already stretched across again on my way back down. it's CRAZY!

i almost slapped my face off last week when i woke up from a nap and a face planted directly into one that stretched across the front door when i went out to get some fresh air. woke me right up ;)

 
i think this is the largest web i've seen...it's probably about 15" across.

 

and it's magnificent!
