the power of love and the tower of gum.

the wedding was absolutely fabulous!!!!!

the lovely couple walked in to bob marley and out to jimmy cliff...there was a rip roaring reception (full on dance party) by the pool. luckily no one went IN the pool...good food, great friends lots of hugs and a million smiles. 

best time EVER!

anyways, the mister and i have both lived down in san diego for many years and so it felt a little bit like coming home to visit. we got there the same day as the wedding and we didn't have very much time to loll around....so we just grabbed a quick lunch at one of our favorite hang outs.

and passed by this crazy gum tower at one of the crosswalks.

it's the pole that holds the street sign and stop light.

it's disgusting and magnificent at the same time.

anyways. that's my weekend in a nutshell.
