peepin for squirrels

we keep a water dish on the railing for the squirrels. they stop by all the time to have a drink or wash their face. i just refilled it yesterday since the rain and this little guy came over for a sip right away.

it drives matilda crazy!

 

i thought i'd let him finish before releasing the beast.

anyways, i've been flooded with ideas lately 

and i'm trying to make as many as i can 

before i forget them or lose interest. 

i will have new stuff to share very soon.

panties, potions and pincakes

just updated my shop:)

... a substance believed to cure all ills...

these pretty little potions were inspired by vintage perfume bottles and also in part by my giant collection of tabasco bottles...which were also inspired by vintage perfume bottles.

anyways, i thought: what could be cuter than a colorful collection of different shapes and sizes made of corduroy and cotton prints.

...with fancy embroidered labels?

so here is my first collection. it's hard to pick a favorite.

pincakes

mr. sunshine finally peeked out from behind the clouds

and i was finally able to take some pics of my new goodies.

 

have you seen my little pincakes? 

i added a pretty strip of elastic so it slips onto your wrist so it won't get lost

i'm gonna start adding stuff to the shop after i edit all the images.

...i'll let you know when i do...

and i may post another peek or two before then.

my machine is due for a serious tune up and i've been trying to come up with 

a list of things i can stitch by hand while it's in the shop

 
 

i managed to sew up this fresh batch of leaves, but just barely.

i have big plans for these babies so i am SO thankful it held out long enough.

still raining. i think it's been over 8 days straight by now 

although we did get a teensy weensy break on saturday

we're really not used to this 'round these parts.

it's like we're living in a rain cloud.

 

supposed to dry out tomorrow...i think. 

i'm hoping to take some pics when it clears

...until then i will be at my machine stitching away...
