yes, it's true i have used this title before,

but i think you'll agree that this post is also worthy:)

and... as an overly characteristic pisces 

i feel entitled to use it as much as i please.

 

my birthday was fantastic and actually started this weekend when i went to brunch with my mom and my sister. we ate a my favorite little greasy spoon diner followed by a trip to good will, ross and micheals. i mean rally, what more could a birthday girl ask for?

these lovely blooms are from my sis.

she also made me some rose infused honey with organic roses she picked from her garden...there it is in the front with the pretty sticker label. i also got an AMAZING vintage floral tin from a faraway friend who always sends me the most special gifts that are right on target. thanks, julie!

 

i scored this lamp at goodwill for less than $15!!

 i have been wanting one for awhile and she is a perfect addition to the boudoir.

anyways, yesterday i spent time with my pooch and my sweetheart for a stroll around town and a late breakfast followed by a full afternoon of jewelry making on the couch....watching stardust

 overall, i'd say it was practically perfect in every way. and thanks to everyone for all the lovely thoughtful and beautiful birthday wishes. it means the world to me!

i am so flattered that the darling miss chelsea of paper cakes

she sent me a list of questions to answer last week 

and i hammered them out one morning over a cup of coffee.

there's something so classic about bows.

i used bows in my very first collection of appliqued totes.

i thought i'd start off with a pretty  little peek

words can't really express how much i love this new tote.

   

i'm sure you recognize the fabric

it took me awhile to match it perfectly with the prints and of course i had to add a ribbon tassel for some extra flare. i think i'm gonna have to make one of these babies for myself because i'm pretty sure goes with just about everything in my closet:)

anyways, it's still comin down out there...raining cats and dogs!

...and my little dog has been snoring the day away...
