as if the candy colored houses weren't enough...

 

...get a load of these doors! 

 

the cars are all parked on one side of the street 

so the unobstructed shots are limited

but i think i managed to get a pretty good variety.

...i think i feel a series of applique artwork coming on...

i love the winged sea serpents!

...and i was pleasantly surprised to discover a tiny blackbird in the shot once i transferred the images onto my computer.

i noticed this little cutie on the first day of the trip

PERFECTLY matched to the wood tone.

i love how each door has it's own personality

with the most amazing attention to detail

...and the variety is endless...

very inspiring.

makes me want new door!
