today is gloomy and cold and rainy and we have a fire in the wood burning stove and a coffee table full of gingerbread house making supplies....or maybe i should say graham cracker house making supplies.
all of my walls have been built and decorated...i am just waiting for the frosting/glue to set so i can assemble everything with the roof and add the finishing touches.i think i need to wait until tonight or maybe tomorrow.
...speaking of sugar and spice...
take a look at my new pretty patchwork tote...it's smaller than my usual totes and it has longer straps and i love it!
anyways, i managed to add a handful of items to the shop this weekend and will be adding more tomorrow and through the week. the lighting got away from me this afternoon with the rain storm and i still have to shoot the prickly pears....hopefully tomorrow will be better.
well, i better get back to watch my frosting dry.

PS...i just went looking for the last gingerbread house we made (WARNING: this links my old school blog and i also notice there is a missing image, but you can still get a look at the funny little house)...i saw that i used the same title way back when...trippy. anyways...i just assembled my candy coated graham cracker structure and so far-so good...it still needs some more candy which means i need to mix up some more frosting, but i like the way it's turning out. can't wait to show it off:)
