instead of gifts this year...my family decided to take a cruise. SO...on new years day we leave for puerto rico where we will stay for 2 nights before boarding a ship for the caribbean. there will be 12 of us in total for a 5 days cruise with each day in a new port. i have never been on a cruise before and so i have no idea what to expect, but i know it will be a blast.
i started packing this weekend and realized that almost all of my clothes are 'warm weather clothes'.
(which mean i don't really need to buy anything before we leave. yay!)
lots of little hippie tanks with sparkles and ties and embroidered butterflies
a ton of smocked frocks and lace trimmed peasant tops
and an assortment of candy colored strappies and slip ons
i'll admit, i'm a little nervous about being away from the tiny house for so long...not to mention the pooch...YIKES! but i know it will be good to get away. it's been SO long.
i have a ton of things to do before we leave which is why my blog has been so quiet as of late, but i promise to make it up to you in the new year with new tales to tell and new designs to share.
wishing you all a warm and wonderful remainder of the holiday season.
cheers!

How fun. Our family decided to take a family trip in lieu of gift exchanging as well. Added to much less stress and enjoying each other.. the true spirit. Have fun!

have a great time! it sure is hard leaving our puppies behind when we travel, but nice knowing they are well taken care of and anxious for us to get back home!
ps - love the shoes and am envious that you'll be running around in tropical weather!
