1. LOVE:
we went to this crazy dinner theater show on friday with some good friends.
it's called teatro zinzanni and it's on the embarcadero in san francisco.
we made reseravtions a couple months ago and have been looking forward to it ever since. we got all dressed up and piled into our friends battle wagon (ford excursion) that comfortably sat 8 people...at least it was comfortable on the way there...
2. CHAOS! :
after the boys polished of a couple hundred dollars of liquor...i think it's fair to say the ride home wasn't quite as comfortable. might i add that the girls (all 3 of us) were stone sober the entire evening. which made it even that much uglier.
3. DINNER:
dinner was included in the price of the ticket and was a step above banquet food...although i hear the steak was amazing. my winter vegetable galette....not so much.
anyways, onto happier things. the show was a feast for the eyes and imagination. the course were served in between acts tht were part vaudeville-part cirque de soleil. no cameras allowed inside, but you will have to believe me when i say that the costumes alone were worth the ridiculously overpriced cost of the tickets. sequins and fish nets and bustiers and feathers and wigs and hoola hoops and giant birdcages and...the list goes on and on.
my lovely boyfriend bought me the dreamiest masks in the boutique before the show. i haven't had time to properly shoot them. so i can't include them in this post, but will show you soon.
anyways, i have been busy getting ready for the "you know what" on wednesday. i should be able to drop a couple of crumbs tomorrow.
