first off. i need to say yay! we have had snow for 2 days. nothing sticking today, but we had quite the flurry early this morning. makes me wish it snowed here during the winter. i love the way it swirls around silently settling on fence posts and tree branches...even if it's only for a moment.
anyways, i snapped a couple shots of our graham cracker cottages yesterday
mine is in the left and my boyfriend's is on the right. as you can see...mine is slightly lacking in decoration since SOMEONE used all the candy and frosting before i could get to it.
all i managed was a jelly belly chimney and a pretzel trellis on the other side.
...i still have big plans for my candy coated cottage...
i will need to make some time this week to finish it up.
i promise to post a million pics when they're all done.

Those look like they were a ton of fun to make. That reminds me, I'll need to get my girls working on their own candy shacks.

These are awesome! Both of them are fantastic, but I must say that I am partial to yours lol. I wanted to let you know, too, I have a great giveaway going on right now and I think you might really like the prize. Check it out when you get a chance!

How cool. Those are awesome. I just posted our first ever gingerbread house making event on my blog. Funny, while we were making it (from a kit though) I thought of you and how awesome yours would look. And they do! Look awesome.

they are great. never tried to make one but enjoy watching them get eaten. my niece made one last year and when it was time to eat it she smashed her fist into it. i am not sure it that is etiquette but it sure was fun. xx rosey

Yummy!!! What a good idea to use grahams...have to try that! We usually resort to those prefab kits that are prob made a year ahead of time and end up hard like cement...:P
Hope you have a wonderful candy coated Christmas dear :)
