i want you to meet my new fish.
his name is "KING" and he is a siamese fighting fish.
these little fish are known for their bright colors and can be kept in a glass container without having to use any heaters or filters. i have him set up in a big ol' vase with about a half a bag white fishbowl rocks.
...and i couldn't resist getting him a castle...
i keep him on a small table in my dining room out of direct sunlight
it looks like he loves it so far!
ttfn
...PS...
mom got a little 2 year old chihuahua mix with the most beautiful markings.
his name is Rocco and i promise i will post some pics soon.

Cool fish...my sis had one just like him for awhile. I'd like to get some fish someday for my cats to watch. How exciting about the Chihuahua...a rescue?...that's so neat! :) A total personality-plus dog!

Hi Lori
I used to have 4 fighting fishes in different colours, and we keep them in individual little tanks with cardboards between the tanks to seperate them from seeing and fighting against each other. How beautiful these fishes are though. Happy times with King!

I love the vase you have your fish in. He is a lovely little guy as well. The kids have been asking for a fish so he seems low maintenance enough for me- maybe I will bite the bullet. Congrats to your mom on her new dog friend. We just celebrated our one year anniversary with our rescue dog and I can't imagine him not being with us.
