thank you so much for all the wonderful get well wishes for matilda. you will be happy to hear that she is feeling MUCH better today...we didn't even have to switch to a bland diet. i love all the remedies you suggested. i will have to make a note of them for next time...cuz there's always a next time:)
anyways, we are finally back in the swing and the week is already half over. sheesh!
here is a peek at the project i worked on this weekend
colorful felt masks with lashes that go on for days!
i am planning to make either kits or tutorials.
i am completely smitten with how they have turned out so far.
i still need to come up with a couple more designs, make all the line drawings for the patterns and put together a lovely layout, but i'm hoping to have them available by the end of the month.
crossing my fingers:)
happy hump day!

Hello Lori Marie!
Those mask are absolutely wonderful! What a great idea...
I work a lot with felt myself and I really enjoy reading your blog as a rich source of inspiration. (I know it sounds awfully cheesy, but I thought it would be nice to know that there's yet another faithful reader out there...).
I recently moved to Italy (from Belgium) to go and live with my longtime sweetheart... and reading your blog has been one of the few continuous things these last months. It's been terribly hectic between moving, starting a new job, meeting new people and having to think and speak in a new language.
But your blog has helped to pick up thread, wool and felt even when I was absolutely exhausted. Thank you so much for that.
I send you all my best wishes (and also to poor Mathilda, who, I hope, by now has recovered well from her wild BBQ-hangover.)
Best wishes,
Katrien
