tiny delight

greetings from the tiny house!

 

i have been working on a new idea these past couple of days and have pretty much neglected everything else as a result. the samples are coming along nicely. it's taken a couple of tries, but i'm getting there. i am hoping to finish some up today so i can show you!

anyways, my recent obsession with terrariums has just about taken over the house. i got all of the ingredients last week and practically no glass vessel has been left unplanted. they are super easy to make...i will post more about it later this week.

  at first, i got a couple of bonzai trees to plant in my vintage style candy jars, but they were too stinkin big and so i had to get a couple of cute new pots instead...oh well, i still love them. i mean, what could be more enchanting than a teeny tiny tree? or a pretty little garden enclosed in a tiny glass jar? my terrariums are mostly planted with irish moss, but i have stashed some plastic figurines inside to create little lands of make believe ...oh i'm getting ahead of myself and i'm probably making them sound WAY cuter than they actually are. so i'll stop and save the rest for another post:)

well, i'm off to take matilda for a walk before it gets too hot.
