i'm getting the itch to redo my house or at least a couple of rooms. it was built in the 40's and not a whole lot has been done to it since then. we have all sorts of built ins and wierd angles and it seems that each room can only be arranged in one way...which KILLS me cuz i like to switch stuff around all the time.
anyways, every now and again i need to peruse the vintage wallpapers on ebay and dream about what i WOULD do if my boyfriend would ever consider such a thing. here are a few of my favorites.

this one is a little crazy...but i think it could work in the teeny tiny powder room in my sewing studio.
i can see putting something like this

...or this...

in a little nook or maybe on a bedroom wall or two.
this one reminds me of the print i have in my closet

such great inspiration...look at all the sweet details!

i think the colors are a little crazy in this one,

not sure i could do the orangey peachy thing...maybe if you played up the aqua in the rest of the room it could work.
all right, that's all enough daydreaming for now.
ttfn

I have the same issues of not always being able to paint or decorate as I wish, so no aqua/teal kitchen for me. However I think your wall paper could be super cute in draws or lining the back of your nooks.... that way you could change them around as you please.

The green and white one looks a bit like one of Martha's giftwrap patterns.

the top picture is my absolute favorite one! You could also do one wall with it! That would be lovely and not too busy!
