...who's got the button?

who doesn't love a big ol' pile of pretty plastic buttons!?
i'm always tempted to scoop up a batch of these vintage beauties from ebay, but haven't quite figured out how to use 'em....so i collect images instead:)

so many teeny tiny details!

and just look at all the sparkles!
like a million mouth watering candies is a fancy crystal dish.
anyways, hope you are staying warm and dry on this cold and stormy saturday. we are actually getting a little break from the rain right now, but they say there is more to come this afternoon.
i have been up since the wee hours of the morning puttin the finishing touches on some new designs for my shop. i plan to take pics today and start posting soon thereafter. my boyfriend took matilda on a little morning adventure - the usual weekend routine...which gives me some time to get a few things done without the little smoosh face plastered to my leg. plus it gives her some good quality time with papa....she is such a daddy's girl!
well, i better get back to picture taking while i still have some good light.

Oh wow what eye candy! They are all just stunning but those sparkly ones in the bottom pic - OH MY! I can just imagine my Nana with buttons like that on a special coat. Of course, my Nana and my Mum both would cut off the buttons from all their clothes when they were ratty and torn. Nothing went to waste! No doubt women all over the world were doing that too, hence 'vintage' buttons are now in style. Yay for us!
