well i made it through christmas in one piece and i got some good loot that i want to show you once i get a chance to take some pics. although i had a nice time, i have to say i always feel a little sense of relief when it's all over.
anyways, i have been a little under the weather since christmas eve. one of those lingering stuffy head, runny nose, mild ear ache and sometimes raging headache kind of things. not to worry, i have somehow managed to keep my imagination rolling and have busy as a bee stitching up some new designs.
here is a small glimpse at my giant mess.
not much else to report...just enjoying the wintery weather and waiting for the new year to arrive.
i hope to get some of my spaces in order before the 1st so i can start with a nice clean slate...we'll have to see how it goes.
thought i'd pop in and say hello on this very chilly first day of winter.
i finished up the last bit of my christmas shopping this morning and plan to begin boxing and wrapping this evening. i might even squeeze in a pretty little batch of sugar cookies.
other than that....i have been hard at work on a collection of new designs for my shop. the idea just clicked the other day and now my imagination is running wild. i have a couple of samples finished already but about a million more to go. i can't wait to show you!
anyways, i hope that you are all enjoying what the season has to offer...
the twinkling lights and shining stars and gingerbread houses and holiday movies and warm nights by the fire and spending time with the ones you love!
it's time for me to start putting together my own batch of gifties for the big big day. i have most of my gathering done...i just need to wrap. the presentation is half the gift! there's nothing quite like a delightfully decorated parcel with your name on it:)
presents/presentation...hmm...i think i see a connection.
anyways, the humpty dumpty is an image from one of my favorite ornaments. it is plastered with sweet nursery rhymes and was made in west germany in 1977...i've had it FOREVER and it's still in perfect condition....love it!
