monster trucks and more

here is a peek at the PBK designs i was telling you about.

the top pillow is from the daisy garden collection which has been running for a few years. my original artwork is on the left. the pillow underneath is from the audrey collection this season...looks like they changed some of the colors...i couldn't find it online.i think it's only in stores

This is so fascinating, Lorie!
So how does this work. You come up with design ideas and they incorporated them into lines of bedding etc?
Or do they tell you what they are looking for and you give them designs to choose from?
It's so interesting and I love that you are working from home doing this. How did you get started in such a cool job?

Yesterday, I was in South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa/Orange Country, SoCal)and remembered to visit PBK to check out your work. OMG, girl!!!! you're amazingly talented! Love all the the beddings in the girl's section. I want it all! Hmmmm, if only I can convince Sweetie that pink/green is not too girly for our bedroom, I'd buy the whole thing. I'll find way, you know I will. LOL! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

for the beds...they give me a theme and color pallette and i come up with the artwork and then make it all out of fabric with handstitched details, the finished artwork is scanned into the computer and arranged into all sorts of designs.

for the pillows i am givin a picture of all the bedding collections. i have to make a pillow that specifically coordinates with each bed but at the same time compliments all the beds...it's like a puzzle.

other times i am givin a piece of artwork for reference and am responsible for making the applique version.

anyways, it's quite a process...but i love it!
