finally ordered Emily's birth announcements.

...i really love the way the turned out...

now i just have to be patient for the next week or so til they get here.

golden egg cup

i whipped up a trio of tiny trinket cups from an ordinary cardboard egg carton

i just trimmed around the individual cups

slathered on a couple coats of acrylic paint and a coat of glossy sealer

i think they turned out pretty cute.

 just the right size for a ring and a pair of studs.

mommy bliss

it still totally blows my mind that i grew this little person inside my body

and now she's here living with us and growing like a weed!

i love her beyond measure and can't wait to watch her blossom into a beautiful young lady.

1 month old

Emily is a month old today and here she is fresh from the bath...she loves her baths

we use this bath tub which is kind of like a baby strainer

i put a towel down before setting her in and then drape another over her tummy

to keep her warm while i wipe her little body down with a soft cloth

there's nothing sweeter than a warm clean baby

delicious!

my sweet Matilda has adjusted so well to the baby. i am so proud of her.
